Run the installer

Double-click the downloaded .exe. Windows SmartScreen may show a warning for unsigned apps — click More info → Run anyway. jaklens.ai installs to your user AppData folder (no admin rights required).

First launch — AI model download

On first launch, jaklens.ai downloads the Qwen2.5 1.5B GGUF model (~1.2 GB). This is a one-time download requiring internet. After this step, the app runs fully offline.

Start managing invoices

Drag and drop your first invoice PDF, or go to Expenses to add your first entry manually. The AI assistant is ready from the chat panel once the model finishes loading.

AI features require AVX2. If your CPU doesn't support AVX2, the AI invoice OCR and AI assistant will not load. Manual invoice entry, expense/income tracking, and Excel export remain fully functional.
